thats why I said if the dealership is charging him 500, thats robbery. 400 is more like it. but MSRP of those sensors are like 320 and 160? so I guess thats why they're "trying" to charge him 500.

Right, so at least I gave him a price and source (where to buy). You could have given him a price (and where to buy) for each O2 sensor. Which you did now by implying that the front O2 sensor can be bought for around $280. But why not just say it outright from the beginning?
