Replace brake rotors?

Time to replace brake rotors?
I have a 2004 GT that has 78k miles. I have gone through 2 sets of OEM Mazda brake pads and the car has been tracked numerous times. Today when I took the front rotors in to get them turned (because of shimmy) they said I am out of tolerances (they measured .88 and minimum to turn is .89) and need new rotors.
Does this sound like the amount of wear and tear I should expect? Also, any major issues with aftermarket brake rotors (Duralast, etc, etc)?
