ok, so maybe you guys have seen some pic s of my car and hated the chrome door handles. the problem is if i remove the covers, the paint underneath is all scratched up. i'd like to get them re-painted but i dont want the shop to have to mask off my whole car just to paint the handles.

so my question is, how do i remove the outer door handles from the car?

Not exactly common.

 

Imo, the chrome handles look nice and go nicely with the filler cover. The thing that clashes imo, are the bronze wheels.
