Remove new parts before reman engine gets installed?

Well, after a lot of guessing about what was wrong with my '05 6spd, it turns out the engine doesn't meet factory spec on compression. I barely made it due to timing (1/21/05 purchase date), but I will be getting a reman motor installed under warranty.

The bad news is that I have replaced many parts (and spent a few bucks) to get replacement parts that I have installed myself - a new starter, four coils, plugs, and wires. There is less than 70 miles on the starter and coils. It's not a lot of money, but I thought I might pull out the starter and the coils before it goes in for surgery

Does anyone know if they run a test on the installed engine before installing the reman engine?

My only concern is that they would not run their factory engine compression test unless those parts were first replaced to ensure that the low power wasn't caused by something more mundane. I don't want to pull them, then have them say, "oh wait a minute, you have an old starter and old coils so we can't be sure that the reman engine is really necessary." Call me paranoid, but when it comes so close to the end of the warranty (and car registration no less) I don't want to be delayed getting the car up and running again; however, I would like to have those spare NEW parts ready if needed in the future.

Just tell'em that they're both new and to reuse them.
They generally replace them to get some quick bucks from the user, then get the money from mazda for the remanufactured engine install.
