Relocating Foglights Behind MS Bumper

Does anyone know if it is possible to relocate the foglights behind a MS bumper or if there is a kit to do this with? With my last car I had a body kit and I mounted my fog lights behind the mesh so that they were still functional but still kept the good looks of the kit.

But doesn't that relocate the foglights in front of the mest, on the front side of the bumper where the foglights will be visible? I want it so that when the fogs are off you will not be able to tell that they are there. I want them hidden behind the bumper and mesh somehow.

Man, I tried that last week before I installed my bumper... I took the bumper out to the car (at night-time ooops) and kinda eyeballed where I might have room just by holding up the bumper to the frame (the factory bumper was already removed at this point) and from that I went to the hardware store and bought a bunch of nuts and bolts and brass tubing to make spacers. Keep in mind I was re-using the original factory plastic brackets. After about 3 hours, I had these installed in a kick *** location on the upper corners (behind the mesh) of the main opening, right below the black plastic 'bar'. I knew I was going to have to extend the wiring, but they looked so cool, I didn't care.... Well the next night I was installing the MS bumper and m$&#therF#^$*er, the stupid front crash bar was in the way big time. Duh. I thought they'd end up below it, but not even close...all that work for nothing. It was late, and about to rain, and I had to have my car drivable the next morning, so I just yanked them out, even before snapping a picture... Now I have two big elevator bolts visible on the front black 'bar' since I drilled holes in it for these fogs that are not even there, and I just left the bolts in place to fill the holes. I even contemplated yanking the crash bar, but sanity prevailed.

Wow, sounds like you had a hell of a time, but you had a pretty good idea going. I bet it would have looked bad if it would have worked. I will try to do something I'm just not for sure what yet. I wonder if you could buy the brackets for the outside of the bumper and use them to install the lights on the inside of the bumper? Was there no other location that they would have worked in? Man, I really would like to keep these, throw in some Yellow Hid bulbs, and be looking sweet.

Yea, I wanted to get some 6000K bulbs for mine....and yes, they should work in a similar fashion on the lower part of the main opening, although I don't think it would have looked as cool. But anyways, in order to really perform properly, fogs are supposed to be as low as possible... but I don't think that's what I care about, especially since I have never seen fog in Arizona once! It'll probably be a few more weekends before I get around to trying this again...
