I have tc sportline strut bars. does anyone have pics of where the rear bar bolts to the suspension? I just want to be sure I attached it correctly. i see the mazdaspeed bar bolts to the tower above the trunk floor a few inches. where i attached my tc sportline bar has it just barley above the trunk floor. did i attach this in the correct place?? i couldnt find any pics or installation instruction anywhere. your help is appreciated.

 

I have the same bar as you... I could never get mine to fit perfect but here are my pics.


You're in the right place if its mounted very close to the floor of the trunk. The Mazda Speed anchors to the top of the strut support, which is why it sits up higher.
I'm sure you're in the right place though, it really wouldn't fit anywhere else.

no problem - I'll have to take a pic of my stereo installed with it. I managed to get 2 10s and a box in front of the bar and behind the seat.... and the bar holds everything in place nicely.

 

I've been thinking about new bars. Is there any noticeable difference with just the strut bars or should we go with the fender braces too?
