I have a 2005 RX8 and I have lost all power to readio and a/c control panel. The dash has all lights , windows work, seat warmer and cig lighter works. Just the radio and control panel for heat and a/c. You can turn on the blower for fan for a/c and it works just can not switch from a/c to heat, defrost, etc. We have checked all fuses and none are blown. Any suggestions on this issue??

Sounds like the big power connector on the back of the radio is loose....

 

Open the trunk - is the little trunk light lit?

How do you take radio out and would it be wise to check to see if connector is tight?


I have a 2005 mazda RX 8 and the radio and air conditioner stopped working in center compartment . The dash lights work power windows, cig lighter and heated seats just radio will not turn on and the blower blows air but can not change to air conditioner , heat, defrost etc. I have checked all fuses and tested but all are fine under hood and in car. Need suggestions. please
