So last week i went to mazda, asked them to check my plugs, cause i usually have problems w my 8 vibrating a lot like most 8s, not so much recently like in the summer... they tell me that they 'suspect' its because my plugs were putting backwards last time i had them changed on june. Backwards??? my gfs cousin whos a mechanic put them on...n if they were backwards wouldnt the car have more issues and not run at all?? is it possible...i've always had the vibrating n shut off issue n i dont think its cause of that...$106 to have them put in correctly...theyre ******* ridiculous...i didnt believe them so i left it as it is...car runs good like always just have that slight issue sometimes...

 

you could check them yourself and save some $$
"Vibrating a lot" isn't common. Some vibration is normal. Maybe need to clean your maf sensor and change your air filter. Or you may have bad motor mounts

 

if its backwards, you engine should be fucked long time ago.

and if ur car shakes, make sure ur mounts are good.

 

How can you put it backwards? That dealership is full of BS. The end!!!

 

I'm sure they're referring to accidentally swapping the trailing and the leading plugs, which is so difficult to do it's idiotic.
