Question about oil injectors

Question about oil injectors

Are the oil injectors just orrifices or do the have some valving in them like a fuel injector? Just wanted to know so that if i take mine out i have an idea of how to clean / test them.

You hook them up to a vacuum pump to test them. Series I engines have check valves in the injectors. But at the very end it's just an orifice.
