Question about adding oil
Guys, I need a little help here. I'm coming up on my 3rd fuel-up and need to start checking the oil regularly. I'm getting it changed today (I'm a subscriber to the 500, 1000, 2000, then every 3000 method) so it's not really a big deal right now, but for future reference:
How do I go about checking and adding oil? Should I only add oil if it's down to the add oil line or if it starts getting close, should I top it off? Will adding too much oil (maybe an extra 1/4 qt. on accident) cause a problem?

just top it off if needed and don't worry too much about overfill. It is not a big issue with a rotary. Your oil consumption will be very low so you won't notice it for about 500 miles or so.
