Quality of the stock OEM spark plug wires

can anyone comment as to the quality of the stock spark plug wires? I'm thinking about swaping them out with Racing Beat Ultra wires to see if it improves my idle.

I'm looking to purely smooth the idle out, not expecting any power gains. Anybody have these? I looked into Magnecor as well, it looks like Magnecor are sold per wire and are about double the price of the Racing Beat kit.

Thanks

I can't speak for the RX8, but I tried Magnacor wires on my Miata and there was no difference in idle or power. I ended up going back to the OEM (NGK) wires for my next set. I'm pretty sure the 8's are NGK wires as well...

I changed the wires and idle got better. Which is not to say that if I would have maybe cleaned the old ones or put the dielectric grease I used on the new ones, idle would not improve anyway, without changing the wires. But for $70, why not get some really nice ones on? So I did. See my sig for details

I'm sure the Racing beat wires will be better then the stock ones, question is how much better? In my other car, I installed sparko wires over the orginal NGK and I noticed a huge difference in terms of power, I'm kind of hoping for a similar effect in my rx8.

The original ones on my car were Sumitomo 2004 LE-E, not NGK. The spark plugs are NGK.

I have the RB wires and can't see/feel any difference over the OEM ones. Instead of speading $90 for the wires, I would instead spend $104 and buy 4 new coils.
