Power cuts off around 6500 rpm (no cel)

So ive been doing some research since i dyno'd my car. Here are the results.

The point were it start to dip is 6500rpm and thats were the APV should open to give the engine more air. My question to the community is there a way to check the APV motor? myself or should i just take it to the dealer and have them replace the whole thing. I have a 2004 currently sitting on 80k miles. Also ill mention that when i redline it i dont get a cel ( i do redline the car every time i drive it, not sure if the owner before me did). Any suggestion, thoughts, comments?

This shows how to test the APV motor.

Not sure the APV stuck closed will give you that kind of result, but lets see what others have to say about it.

BTW... my video doesn't really show you where to connect the power source, so here are a couple pics to help:

the good news is that you were making 175whp at 6500rpm.

thats good!

people that dyno 165whp around there and go on to make 190-200whp.

update i tried to remove the APV motor from the intake from the right tire well but could not remove one of the bolts because there were 2 pipes in the way. So i just disconnected the APV and applied the 12V DC adapter and i heard the motor turn. I connected the APV back and i had my gf put the car in the on position for a couple of seconds then turned it off and i heard the car testing the APV motor from the right tire well. I drove the car up to 9k rpm and i noticed that the engine sounded louder and did struggle to reach 6.5k to 9k rpm. Next weekend we have a Dyno day coming so we will see if the issue was resolved. Jon thanks for the help.

search, it may easily be an intake valve being stuck.
Which one is up to you to search.
