Plexiglass safe?
ok, so ive been seeing quite a few ppl doing the plexiglass thing under the hoods, like intake boxes and stuff like that. im planning on doing something similiar but my question is, is usin plexiglass safe? i know it has a tendency of melting or even catching fire... and the rotary get even hotter then most vehicles so im a bit hesitant to do any plexiglass in the engine bay, anyone have any experience, or advice?

Plexiglass is not good at all under elevated temps and is also brittle. I'd try lexan (polycarbonate), much better at elevated temps and much less prone to breaking. You can also bend it rather than gluing panels together.
