Please post DIY for thermostat replacement.

Can someone kindly post instructions how to change my thermostat and suggest what temp to use.

Best I can do. Be sure to use an OEM thermostat! Some who have used aftermarket thermostats on their RX-7s have had problems. Not sure about the RX-8, but why take a chance?

Are they serious that you have to unbolt the belts and the waterpump pulley to get to the thermostat?

That was a bit much to me.

btw: I rarely get much above 180 degf on my coolant so I guess rarely full open.
