awesome thread!

i would study this in more detail for future frame welds in the future to come, once i get my hand on a mig/tig welder.

and have anyone done some weld projects on the 8 care to post up pics, and advise what focus points to weld...

i'd like to strengthen the frame and curious on which mig/tig is better app for this.
and in no particular reason to try to learn... just wanna have a stronger car to last thrughout its life ownership and able to see more track time.

once again...great thread, sorry if my post is all over the place and not too specific.
just excited seeing these pics =) great work

Most welcome. I was shocked and blown away at the amount of information in the book. Just the fact that there is a complete book says it all.

cad drawing would absolutely rule. i could design suspension bacing without test fitting. that is ofcourse if my welder was working.
