Does anyone know if we will be able to purchase parts microfische from Mazda. I am not even sure they still use microfische but I had them for all three of my RX-7's and I found it quite handy to have around. I would much rather have it on a CD-ROM.

 

Don't know if they are available for sale, but our dealership still uses both?

 

Well.. I feel certain that I can get my hands on them, but I was just unsure if they still put parts on microfische as opposed to say a CD-ROM. Does your dealership currently have a set of parts microfische for the 8?

 

Honestly I do not know? you can give them a call at 713-932-6004 ask for parts they can answer that for you no problems, if I get time today, I'll try and get an answer, they usually answer customers before us though )

 

I'm not sure, but every time I've been at "our" parts counter, they always refer to the computer to search out parts I've asked about, including RX-8 accessories.

 

True Tybee... but they are just looking up the part number for price and availability when you are shopping for accessories... at least if I am not mistaken. When I had all of my RX-7's they had to look up actual parts on the microfische. I.E. If I wanted to replace the passenger front seat they would have to look up a part number because it would not be a part number they keep handy. Who knows though... I will find out in time.

Tybee any word on your 8?
