Hey everyone!! Just curious about this issue. I recently got an 04 mazda RX8 and after about a week my tire and filter indicator lights have come on. I checked the tire pressure and is okay! The lights go off and come on? Any clue? Same goes for the filter.

Another thing is it probably happened twice but on the road while driving all panel lights came on and it seemed like the car was about to stall?

If anyone has any suggestions let me know!!!

Filter light? No such thing. Tire pressure monitors are pretty accurate and will come on if the tires are overfilled so make sure they match the recommended pressures on the door jam. If the pressures are good then you may have a TPMS issue.

The light that resembles a 'filter' is probably the coolant level monitor (the light is supposed to look like the classic Rolls Royce radiator!) the sensor is iffy on early coolant bottles and sinks randomly, showing a Low Coolant alarm.

If all the panel lights come on, it is 90% a loose battery terminal - modern electronics hate bad connections. When the voltage drops to 'zero', the alternator goes to full draw and the result is a very slow engine.....

thanks for the reply guys!! yea hahah I thought it was the filter light? NOOB!! haha So low coolant level eh? Is this something I can do on my own?
