Okay to put jack stands here?
I wanted to know if it was ok to put the jack stands as in the picture. I'm worried that it will bend the frame cause it doesn't seem that solid. So if you can confirm if its safe to put it there, that would be great.

Hmm I used the jack points on the side... just did it today to change my transmission and diff fluid. I jack the rear first and then jack the front.... I leave the jack a little bit lower then the jackstands just as a little precaution.

Do you have jack stands with slots in the top pad to clear the vertical rail?? Mine don't have the clearance so I'm thinking of making wood pads that would contact on the flat part.

First hint for anyone with a low post count: try searching the forums to see if the question has been asked and answered already.

If you're talking about my pictures, you don't want to put a single jack stand in the center of the car. That puts more weight on a single stand and isn't as stable as two. Furthermore how are you going to lift the car to put a stand under the center? A single lift on one side will tilt the car. Trying to put a single stand under the center of a tilted car is pretty unsafe.

I understand where the rear jack goes
but I'm always wondering if I'm doing the front jack correctly...I used the pic from that website but it still is unlcear
anyone have a pic of the car on a lift and can circle the point? so we can see the entire car's underbody?
thanks!

I just want to see the full shot with the area circled :p :D
