Exclamation Oil light on?!?!?

Ok so as yall all know, i got another new engine... so its been 220 miles on it so far and

around 130 miles the oil light would go on as soon as id start the car, but after it would

ger warmed up it would go off...?!?!? or after running it a little hard it would turn on during

driving. I just bought a case of RP 5w-30, idk whether to change the oil or take it back

AGAIN for the 3rd time to the dealer. The first new engine had a oil leak but when the

light comes on in this engine i dont see any oil leaking and ive checked the oil levels, their

fine... UGH idk wtf to do... please help..

so you checked your oil of course and it was at what mark?
and you placed some paper or cardboard under the car when you parked it and were there any signs of drips?

If the oil isn't leaking, it may just be a faulty sensor.

first of all i think u would need to put 5w 20 in it since its a import... and mine does the same thing... my **** comes on when im just riding downtown and when i get on the highway it goes off... i dont knwo what it is but i have to change the oil every 900 to 1000 miles... im burning way too much oil and its mostly cuz i have a lot of upgrades... but im not sure..

Burning a quart of oil in 1000 miles is not unusual for a Renisis (by design, oil is injected into the rotor housings to lubricate seals and then be burned up by the engine). Keep it topped up and use 5w-30. They only use 5w-20 in US car's because of emissions reasons. It's really not a thick enough oil for the motor. Every RX-8 anywhere other then the US recommends 5w-30, and it's not because the engines are different.

This is what i was thinking but not sure... i have fine oil pressure so its not the oil pump, its gotta be a faulty sensor...

That new company is (drumroll here) Mazda. They have opened a new reconditioning facility in Virgina. One of the employees has been posting here.
I'm on engine #4. When my last one was replaced, the oil light was on. That was because it was pumping oil into the intake track. There was oil in the accordion hose and in that little plastic square box by the throttle body.
