Post Oil filter quality info

Here is a website that shows why certain oil filters are better than others. Definitely an eye opening page with lots of very good info. Very well done with pictures and fully supported documentation as to how the results were obtained. It isn't based on RX-8 filters but the info is relevant nevertheless.

well i'm sure that the mega-buck mail-order filters (like Amsoil) are better filters than even that Mobile1.

Puralator has larger Pure One Pl14459. Is larger than stock Mazda filter and rated best in filter test also. See here https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...r&pagenumber=3
