Neit_jnf, the "cardiolube" product is a cool idea. However, there are few reasons I wouldn't go for it:

"Someone" (read: don't give this credibility until you research it) has said that the reason the RX8 has a delay at startup is because the oil injectors are given time to shoot the interior of the combustion chamber. If this is true, you don't need the Cariolube system.

Cardiolube isn't free, is probably a pain in the *** to install (or install well), and is basically something else to fail/break.

Delay at startup? Whatchatalkinabout?

I haven't noticed any delay, unless I'm just an old fogey who cant turn the ignition fast enough?

Regarding startup delay, many people have complained/pondered the fact that the RX8 seems to crank unnecessarily long before it "catches" (i.e. combustion). One explanation that someone offered is that the oil injectors are given a brief moment to squirt before ferocious explosions kick off. Thus the combustion chamber and precious apex seals are lubed prior to startup = long life.

I have no clue as to the validity of this claim from "some guy" in a thread.
