Just don't let nycgps anywhere near it - bad '8 karma. But then, he's a New Yorker, so .....

Go Yanks (hey, if the Sox can't be in it ....)

Haha alright. Ill make sure I dont run any compression tests on it! I was still wondering though, if theres any way to find out how much time/milage I have left on my engine...?

As for the Sox vs Yanks, im not really a baseball fan.. Going to watch the Bruins vs Canadians on the 5th of Nov!!

Beyond a compression test, the only way to truly get an idea for how much time the engine has left would be to have it completely broken down by a rotary expert (e.g. MazMart) and even then it would be an educated guess. And if broken down it may as well be rebuilt, so .....

hahaha, only in good thoughts NYCGPS!

On average, how much would a rebuild cost? And would I have to drive my 8 all the way there?

Alright, so after doing all the oil changes, my wires plugs and coils, the car feels SO much better! Feels like im driving a brand new car! I LOVE it!! I replaced the Mazda Tranny fluid with the RL MT-90 and shifting is MUCH easier. Not sure who said that shifting will be harder, its not at all! The car all in all feels a WHOLE lot smoother and the shifter isnt vibrating anywhere near as much as it was before i changed everything out.

Thanks for all the help guys! Couldnt have done it without you all!

Changing the 'plugs in particular gives a 'new car' feel. Well done tamz.
