Oil Additive for extra lubricant?

Guys,

Is it safe to use any of the Oil additives on the market to give that extra lubricant and protection for the Rotary engine?

Arrow I wouldn't....

I see no reason to add any additives to your oil.

If you pick the wrong one, maybe it contains Zinc Phosphate or similar, (proven to reduce wear) but it can screw up your catalyst when it burns in the rotor housing.

Leave the oil compounders to do their job, you are not smarter than them

Is it safe to? Sure. I need to ask why? Is the oil you are using inadequate? My logic is that if your oil needs additional additives, you should just be using a better oil. I don't see why you can't though. I'm just not a fan of them.

There are so few moving parts in a rotary engine that there shouldn't be any gain. The only type of additive that may help is the use of a detergent additive used before you change the oil.
