OEM iPod adapter

Hey, I just bought the OEM iPod adapter, and I was wondering if anyone had a walkthrough of how to install it. Any help would be great thanks guys

Biggin55, I also installed the OEM adaptor. Those two references darkbrew gave you are excellent. I would have one additional suggestion. Since this install is such a royal pita and you don't want to have to tear into your dash again unless absolutely necessary, I routed the wires so the box that the cables plug into is behind the glove box and thus easy to get to for replacement if necessary. Therefore, about the only reason you would have to tear into the dash again is for the connection to the back of the head-unit.

Just an thought.

I'm just working on getting the head unit off, so far that has been a royal pain in the a$$ I can't seem to get to that bolt I'll be trying again this afternoon, I guess

Did you remove the metal plate under the steering column?
Did you use an extension?
Did you check the fourth picture in my post?

no i didn't remove that metal piece, I'm actually a little lost on that part, I used to have a shop manual but my computer died, so I don't have it anymore. I'm not really sure where the exact bolt that I need to take out is.

Remove the plastic cover under the steering wheel
Remove the four screws underneath
Remove the plate
Stick your head in that spot and look toward the head unit.
Consult the Fourth Picture link in my post above
You'll see the bolt.
