OEM front brake pads question

OEM front brake pads question

Does anybody konws why there it two different types of front brake pads for the RX-8 that are the same size?

There's a Mazdaspeed version of the pads, maybe that's what you are seeing. The OEM pad design was revised a couple of years ago to address squealing issues. I would have thought that all of the old inventory would be out of the channel by now.
