Odd headlight problems

Had a new drivers side headlight installed after an argument with a concrete wall. Since they there have been times where my HID leveling idiot light would go off, stay on for a while and then shut off, all while driving. About 2 days ago I had the same thing happen, but then the lights were pointed about 5 feet in front of the car.

Is there any way to test those leveling motors, or at the very least to get my headlights re-aligned by myself rather than spending $80 at the dealership?

Cheers,
Blue

have them change the front and rear sensor as per the TSB! That might solve your problem -- for free!

Could just be a coincidence you're getting the warning light after your 'bump'. The tsb is something i'd check anyway. They wouldn't cover it in my car in europe because 'the american car is completely different' bullshit to say the least. Took mine apart and replaced the internal coroded springs with biro springs - lights no longer pointing at the ground. THere's a diy on this somewhere....

Sweet! Thanks, I had no idea there was a TSB for this. Really appreciate it!
