No brake lights ?!?
It appears that my brake lights are completely out. As in, when I step on my brake pedal the rear brake lights remain completely dark. Reverse lights work, as do the running lights, turning lights, etc.
Anyone else ever see this?
-They could both have burned out bulbs, but this is rather unlikely.
-Is there a fuse for just these lights?
-A switch on the brake pedal that is broken?
One complicating factor is that the DSC/ABS lights go on at the first braking, which (as I understand it) is due to corrosion of the connectors behind the front wheels. I haven't heard that this will affect the rear brake lights, though.
Any advice? TIA.

It doesn't always mean your speed sensors are corroded. Check out this thread, many people have had a similar problem, myself included. I bet this is your problem as well. Good luck.

Went out, popped the trunk, and noticed that the harness going to the third brake light had broken cleanly through. A trip to NAPA for some 15a fuses and a little electrical tape and I'm back in business. Although I will need to replace or repair the harness to get the third light working again.
Thank you very much!
