Just got my silver rx8...trying my best to baby it. Curious how often everyone has to add oil...I know to check it often but what is the average for people adding? Also...on breakin period....kinda hard to do!! Hope to learn more about everyone and am loveing my 8.

First 1500-2000 miles = 1 quart of oil
every 2000-2500 miles after that = 1 quart of oil.

 

check oil level every 2000-2500 miles sounds about right

gives you a chance to look under the hood to make sure everything's still there :D
