Need Help Imediatly if posibble car wont start

My car has been sitting in the garage all night. I installed my clear markers this morning and to do so I had to turn my wheel to get at the screws. Now the wheel is stuck in the right position and it wont start. If theres anybody who can help within the next hour whiel I try to call mazda that would be great.

Can you not turn the key? I think that's happened to me, try wiggling the wheel and trying to turn it over at the same time.. Try to turn it over kinda (but not too) hard, it should pop ..

I believe this is a safety feature, I've seen the same in many cars. If you have turned the steering wheel enough for the wheels to be locked (ie on a hill) you need to take a specific action (turn the wheel harder in the directly it's turned) before you can start the car.

Yeah, I should have told you to do it repeatedly.. I usually do just out of habit.. That's happened to me a couple times.

Is this documented in the manual? I don't remember reading about it. Course I think I've only read it cover to cover once and that was sort of information overload.
