I borrowed a jack from my dad's car and jacked up both sides. This would at least give you easier access to the center jack points.

i usually jack up one side up with the stock jack. (my car is very low). once that is high enough i stick a floor jack under.

It's right in the middle so you can raise the entire front or back from just one jack point. Get a low-profile floor jack.

Don't forget the jack-stands.

Exactly what I do, and jack from the same points as in those pictures. Works very well.

I wouldn't get under a car without jackstands. It's really not safe. They're pretty cheap too at Sears.

owners manual only tells you side jack points, i believe. not 100% positive.

Im wondering whats so bad about jacking it one side at a time ?

I jack my 8 up just 2 days ago (change oil) and what I did was I jack it using the side jacking points. sure it bend some of the stuff but I think its ok.

Next time I will try to jack the center point as mention above. Cuz its almost due for Gear and Rear Diff oil change :D

Nothing's wrong with that, if you're changing a wheel or doing something else that doesn't involve getting under the car.

If you're going under the car, use jack stands. The car's jack isn't stable enough to trust your life to. A hydraulic floor jack may be more stable, but does not have a positive locking mechanism.

People do get killed every now and then from trusting a jack.
