Need help!!

I recently changed my entire clutch system finishing it up with the master cylinder. I was in the process of bleeding the lines when some how the slave cylinder blew. Is it possible to tear it down & rebuild it? Or do I have to get a whole new one again?

Curious to see how/where the slave cylinder "blew"... the o-ring around the piston or the bleeder screw.
The cylinder has few components and can easily be disassembled.
If the o-ring appears damaged, you can buy a new one.
Just remember to lube the o-ring with brake fluid before re-assembling.

Oh... and to get the piston out of the cylinder, I just remove the bleeder screw and blow air in with a portable air compressor.
Best to have a nozzle/regulator to adjust the pressure because it doesn't take much force to push it out.
Just have a rag ready to catch the components on the other end

It got dark on me, taking it off & checking it out is #1 on my to do list tomorrow. From what I could see, it just might be the o-ring. Thanks for the tip on bleeding it out. I'll post what I find & how it went.

Here is a page from the service manual to give you a visual on the break-down:

No luck

I took it off & checked all of the internal stuff & it all looked good. It is some how leaking from around the cylinder. I felt it "pop" the first time i was bleeding it after pressure finally built up. That was when it started leaking the first time. Once I put it back together & back in place, it happened again. My next question although i'm hoping it's a dumb question is , is it possible that i put the throw-out bearing lever on backwards? There is no resistance when it is pulled backwards, but there is when it is pushed forward. It's like it is on backwards. I forgot to add that it is a new slave cylinder.
