I have the RX-8 tech service manual but I don't understand the wiring schematic. I'm trying to install the Apexi RSM and I need to know the location of the wire that tells the ECU speed, RPM, and a ground and IG power wires. I already tried to talk to Canzoomer. So if some could help me or explain the wiring diagram in better terms it would be alot of help.

 

I called up the dealer and they faxed the 15 page print out over to me. Call your dealer and see if they will do this for you.

Dude, electrical can be REALLY BAD if you mess it up. If you don't understand the diagrams, I strongly advise you not to do the work. Clearly you already know this, because you're trying to gain more understanding. That's good, but I'd still say just take it to a car shop and have them install it. Plus, that way it's their fault if it's done wrong, so you aren't out all the money for a new ECU, wiring system, etc.
