hi every
posted a thread b4,when car car is fully warmed up my 8 is vibarting when idle.fit new coils.new wires,new mounts,new plugs.cleaned MAF. reset ecu.the car is still like.
tried to scan any error code.but nothing found as no CEL.
the car pulls strong.no lossing power.only happens when stationary.
i notice that when stationary and I keep the idle at 1000rmp everything is fine.then release the gas paddle the idle speed will go back to about 800rpm then the engine/car/gear stick starts to shake not really bad but I will try to sort it out if I can.
I also notice that the car is slightly missing fire.again ,It only happens when stationary.I can tell from the exhaust ,change sound about every 5 seconds and the gear stick will shake stronger about every 5 seconds
any idear whats wrong?

My stick shakes after my car is warmed up. But then again I need new engine mounts. So when going wot sometimes I will feel shaking at high rpms.
If you changed your motor mounts it could be your tranny mount? I dont know if our car has one but. Could be the tranny.
How bad is the shaking? does your stearing wheel shake and or rattle? is your idle rough? what mods do you have?

my steering wheel shakes when i idle too! i have the same problems! i dont know what to do! no modifications and i service it on time! i just bought it in aug its a 2004 with 38,000mi!

 

this engine idles better at 900+ rpm, it idles at 810 because its federal law set by clueless politicans.

anyway, if ur engine constantly drops below 700 rpm, sucky mpg, and lack of power. you might have a problem. especially 2004 and 2005 model

engine has a 100k miles 8yrs which ever comes first warranty. so u might want to check it out

 

Yeah mine does it too. It's whatever, but yeah just lightly tap the gas and it'll sit a smidgen higher and no more shakes.
