My 8 is leaking!

Well, didn't expect my first problem so soon, but it's sprung a leak. Not sure what it is though. Going to have to take it to the dealership tomorrow to have them check it out. Basically, some round, black spots. I thought it may be the AC condensation, but I put some cardboard underneath the car, and I've got a round, black spot. It doesn't smell and doesn't feel oily, so I don't know what it is.

Hope it's nothing serious

My dealer service shop was booked up until tomorrow.... bringing it in tomorrow afternoon. Will keep you updated on what it is.

I don't think this is a big deal, I think it might be a bad gasket

Put a cup under it and see what it is. Is it water?

I've absentmindedly left the AC or heater on --> condensation --> quickly dripping water under the car.

where under the car is it coming from? did you take it to a jiffy lube? when they miss the oil spout (how you miss it i have no clue), they'll rinse off the oil with water. This can then leak down in drips for a few days afterwards.

Update:

Brought it in this afternoon, just got a call from the service dept. Small leak in the oil pan, they think a stone or rock might have hit it (possible, Northern Ontario has some terrible roads)

Good news is everything is under warranty so I'm not paying a penny. They will be replacing the oil pan for me.
