Muffler Removal

how do you disconnect the muffler from the 4 black flexers?

A spray of silicone lube is best, but oil or WD-40 works.

wd-40 and a flat head, spray your wd-40 on the flat head and on the rubber hanger. Those mf'ers will pop off.

ok. i was extremely confused because it didnt look like it was supposed to come off at all. thanks guys

This is a very common method, really gotta soak that flat head to make sure it slides in nicely (thats what she said)

Lol well teeechhhnically its not supposed to come off, its supposed to stay up there nice and snug so average joe johnson doesn't have his exhaust randomly fall off after years of wear and tear
