Looking for a mechanic recommendation for troubleshooting electronics on 2008 RX8. Bad sensor, wiring or PCM. Have a replacement PCM coming in from eBay, yes correct numbers on it. We can;t exclude sensor or wiring; but many indications that the PCM may have failed. So along with troubleshooting electronics, I will need PCM reprograming if we have to swap PCM. I don't care if its dealer, or independent (but independent has to be able to program PCM). Any recommendations in central NJ, northern NJ or Eastern PA? I realize this may have been asked before but good mechanics come and go so any recent good experience in this area with a mechanic good at electronics? Thanks so much.

 

Can't help on the mechanic front, but PCM failures are suuuuuper rare. Often other issues are misdiagnosed as PCM failure though. Want to share what problems you're having, maybe we can help?
