Measureing engine oil, dip stick?

hi guys,

I bought my rx8 about a month ago.
Ive ran it for about 1500miles.
The usual redline one or twice a week. Daily to n fro work and out.

Checked my dip stick, i do not see any decrease in the engine oil.
Is that normal~?
Ive been advise to check the engine oil level every twice that i refill at the gas station.

Please advice

*edit* sorry for the spelling error* cant seem to edit it.."measuring~

Maybe you received the car with the oil over-filled?

Now that you know exactly where the level is, check again in 500 miles.

During normal city and hiway driving and a few " Blowing the cobs out of it occasionaly" we see very little drop in oil. After a day at the track with the misses foot in it all day, we go thru a half to a quart of oil. Oil usage is proportional to how much you keep your foot in it.
