Mazsport cooling fan issue?

Hey everyone,

I noticed recently that no matter what temp, the fan kicks on for 3 seconds, then kicks off, then repeats. This happens as soon as I start the car. I'm thinking this isn't normal. Has anyone else experianced this? I checked to make sure there were no leaks, it was properly grounded (no shorts), and the only CEL is for having a catless midpipe.

Any help would be appreciated...

Turn off your A/C and watch what happens.
Mine does that as well and will persist until I'm at speed. If you stop even at a traffic light or somewhere it will cycle again. That's about the rate I expereince as well. Argh!

Hmm.....yeah, I honestly can't remember if I had the AC on or not last time I was checking it out. I'll play with it tonight. Thanks for the input.

Mine just does that with AC on as well. The idle drops, too, when that's going on.
