Hey - I just pulled the (really ugly) shiny "MAZDA" wording off the back of the car, spray-painted it jet-black (I own a Shinka) and stuck it back on... that looks sharp! (I detest chrome, so... I tend to think this is cool.) I've been trying to figure out how to get that big circular logo off so I can paint it too... but I must be retarded 'cuz I can't seem to get it w/o breaking it - or at least that's what it feels like.

Anyone pulled that huge logo off? How hard to you have to tug? Is it screwed/bolted in? Glued?

I also hate too much chrome on a sportscar, but I can't do nothing with the holes under the Mazda emblem. I made a new front emblem which just covers the holes.

 

Your DIY emblem looks good! I've already had several people ask me what kind of car my RX-8 is, and that's with all the stock emblems on it. I imagine you probably get that question even more often...
