Manual Stock Shift **** fit Auto?

I was just wondering if the manual stock shift **** fit the auto? Has anyone tried this before?

Don't think the manual shift **** will fit the auto...the thread sizes are different. On the other hand you could just go get the rotary shift **** for the auto, which makes much more sense than sticking the manual ****, which has the shift gate map on the top of it, into an auto. Unless you're specifically trying to go for the ricer look, sticking a manual shift **** and shifter boot into an auto. The rotary shifter **** for autos has RX-8 imprinted on top of it, not a shifter gate map.
