looks like I blew a halfshaft seal on the diff...
I have rear end gear fluid all over...one side is all wet and looks like it flung it all over...would this be on the 100k mile warranty? its a 05 6 speed.
If not...anyone have a write up or short cuts to fix it? I cant imagine its to bad. Jus drop the wheel and A arm and yank out the shaft, but I dont know whats entailed in getting this seal out of the diff

Search for service manual to read how to get to the diff. Good luck on the repair.

i jacked it up and checked it out...looks easy as pie, way easier than the vette! I have 67000 miles on the stock motor. I am looking for the seal now...and id rather do my own work than the dealership...last time they had it they put the spark plugs in the wrong holes and it ran like dogshit till i found the problem

sometimes the axle pops out of the diff easy, other times it will seem jammed, just use the longest crow bar you can for max leverage to pop it out
you'll need to pull the entire axle assembly out in order to have enough room to install the new seal in place without dropping the differential
not really too difficult if you have the tools and basic mechanical skills
