Lastest Recall
Lastest Recall
Just checked out MyMazda web site and they have this recall reminder listed for my car.
"04 Rx8 Dymanic Damper Recall Date: 02/29/2004 "
Anyone know what exactly it is??
TIA,
Pete

Yep. Check here.
RxGuru - Now that you have been elected God we will of course end the thread - NOT - John
It seems that some on the forum just want new members to do searches - many new members IMHO want to interact with others - not simply look up answers or past comments.
Now I get flamed.

Just to add to the fire..
In this case, it would not have even required much of a search to find his answer as there are multple, VERY active threads already on the 2 recalls that are to be announced...

The title of this thread sounds wrong. It is not the latest recall, actually it is the 1st recall to date, the airbag wiring is the 2nd. Correct me if I am wrong but all other issues were just minor TSB's which are not recalls.
My point is that new members such as myself are looking for not only information but also interaction with RX8 owners, soon to be owners, and just RX lovers. If most posts are answered with "Go search it" - that interaction is not possible.
My post was in response to an "End thread" request - because a new member had asked a question. Not sure if the member had searched and failed, did not know how to search, or what to search for - closing the thread was not the answer IMHO.
I myself do not know how to post a link to a thread - I hope when I ask or if I should be posting a link that the thread is not just closed with a "Do A Search".
Hard to develop and maintain a community with "Do A Search".
In any case - my last planned post on this manner - John

because the rest is not needed, especially the ones trolling on about forum ettiquette, etc... (not excluding this one, of course, heh:p )
I agree with RX8_GT. I for one sometimes have read a thread and tried to go back to it latter and the search gives you something not even related to the search.
Some folks just need to unbutton there collar and relax and have fun. Help each other out.
