I got the M-flash friday and so far all the problems have stopped, it appears the K&N is taking in much more air when in idle.

The problem with all K&N filters is that the filter is coated in oil, This oil over time gets sucked into the engine.

This oil as it is being sucked into the engine is coating the wire that is used to measure airflow in the MAF.

This wire is heated during normal operation and experiences cooling as airflows around the wire.

The change in the temp. of the wire is used to measure the amount of air is being sucked into the engine. The cooler the reading the more air is being fed into the engine.

The oil that is coating this wire changes the characteristics of the wire therefore skewing the readings being sent to the ECU.

Remove the intake and get the MAF sensor cleaned and your car should return to normal.

The M Flash is pretty much a PCM reprogram; it's software. The CZ is a piggyback fuel controller. The two aren't related, so you are right in saying you can have both.
