Key programming question & fog light question

I've read all the posts in the DIY and searched the whole forums, and a few questions I have but didn't see or understand...

1) I have an 04 RX8 and the switchblade keys should work on it, however it's my understanding you have to have at least 2 keys to code the switchblade key ?

2) If you do need 2 keys to start before coding 3rd switchblade key. Is there anyway around this

3) I saw a picture somewhere and can't find it now (any links possibly?), where someone has their fog lights on with driving/running lights, in order to do this the fog lights have to be re-wired (yes or no) ? I think this is a YES answer but wanted to make sure, Thanks in advance

1. yes, you need 2 keys to do it yourself

2. No, you'll have to take it to Mazda for programming

I was thinkin' 'bout getting the same thing, but wasn't so sure if it'll work on an '04
...I never got a factory key fob when I bought my car, I got a cheap aftermarket version instead. plus I only got 1 key =/
If you guys end up gettin' those for your 04's, please lemme know if it'll work =D
