It's like 2-3 HP. You can't feel it. If you buy it, buy it for the sound. It makes a nice, mellow note. IMHO, the REVI is the best intake for the 8. I wish all performace parts were so vehicle oriented. Most are just generic filters on custom pipes, but the REVI is designed and built for the 8 only. Can't really go wrong with it. The only downside is that it is a bit expensive for what it is...but then again you DO get what you pay for--if not in HP, then in sound, build quality, and longevity.

2 cents.

I would think that you could feel it through the rest of the power band.

No, not really. As I posted earlier, the airbox makes a cool sound, this cool sound prompts the drive to give more gas to hear more cool sound, more gas means you are going faster than usual to hear the cool sound. So, in effect, yeah. It makes you go faster. But not for any reasons other than you're gassing it more.

No one can feel 2-3HP. Not even 10HP. I don't care what they say! Of course, you spend several hundreds on a part...you'll want to justify that purchase by saying and even convincing yourself that you "feel" a difference. With the 8, this is not so. Suspension upgrades, you'll feel. But not so much HP upgrades sans F/I. Especially since it will be primarily past 6-7k RPM. If it was 20HP at 3.5k RPM, then you may feel it. But what you feel is not HP but torque. If you want more torque, go F/I or change the gearing in the rear diff. That'll add pep towards the bottom end...

With intake and the 8, at most, you'll notice some extra MPH at extreme wot and about 5 miles of long, straight, open, road...

If you got the bread, its a win-win. A really good product, just pricey is all. If you're on a budget, I'd advise another mod but if you are eventually going to get an intake and you are NOT going F/I...REVI FTW! However, if you've got bread to spare...try an K&N drop-in filter. For $40-$50, why not? If it's not that good, sell it! You owe it to yourself before dropping $550 on the REVI. If you do stay with the OEM airbox, the REVI ram-air would be a good thing to add...oh, and no matter what you do--take the stupid VFAD out!

Hope this helps...

Is there any problems at all with the REVi dropping low end torque? I had the HKS RS Reloaded for two days and the low end torque dropped considerably. I believe the problem there was its completely unsealed design, the air just wasn't being channeled properly. And I say this because I did a test by using spacers to push the stock intake box back so that it became unsealed from the VFAD, and low end torque noticeably suffered as a result. Being the REVi has a larger mouth that's not sealed against the VFAD, I'm kinda concerned about the torque.

Well, as far as I remember...yeah. When installing and even removing the Revi intake and duct it lined up pretty well. I mean, it took some angling and adjusting of the bolts, etc. but it should be a really good fit.

That thing was a bitch to install (REVi). Ive never heard of an intake where you have to remove the front clip and bumper supports to install. All and all though, Im glad we got it done.
