Just took the msp16 update on my new 04 rx8-BIG DIFFERENCE!!

As posted elsewahere here i recently purchsaed a 04 rx8 w/19k orig miles on it a few days ago.
I just took it in this morn to have the under warranty update done, took 20 mins max and as soon as i got on the hiway i noticed a huge difference in a smoother idle and from a dead stop its immediate start off was much faster thru all rpm,s up to the redline.
I must say its much of an improvement for sure.

I had the reflash also. I would agree that it makes a difference. My idle was about the same, but driveability was much improved. Im happy, It took about an hour to get me in and out.

tvtech3, depending on if the previous owner had the 4206f recall done, it could have been a very big difference. Glad to hear that its better!
