Cool just a little insight

Sorry if this was posted already, but I took my car in to the dealer for an oil change, normal maintainance deal. While I was there, I went ahead and expressed some concerns of mine about my 8. Told them about a squeak or chirp sound upon start up. Short little one, then goes away after it's started. Also, my crank time on each start up was taking longer than usual. Well, left it there overnight for them to investigate.
The next morning, I got a call. Basically, the chirp sound upon start up was the altinator pully being mis aligned, they aligned it under warrenty...Sweet! The longer than usual crank time was made corrected by an updated trouble call or something that basically replaced my battary, starter and ALL 4 plugs!! Double Sweet!
Just throwing this out there, I noticed a couple threads that had similar issues. Take your bad boy in, see what they say. I will say, now when I start my car, it starts right away. There's not that lagging crank time anymore. The start up sounds sweet as hell!
Now I'm searching for the warp drive button, anyone ever find theirs?

You must have on '04.

I had the starter package and updated plugs as well and yes it does start much quicker.

There are several threads on this fix. Glad to hear another satisfied 8 owner with their service.

I just had my updated starter and new plugs, new motor mounts, too. Feels like a new car- less vibration, and when I crank it over it sounds like a jet (the starter motor). Sweet stuff, agreed.

Must be an early '05 or they overlooked doing the fix when prepping for customer pickup.
