Just got car back yesterday from shop
I had an accident on Jan, 11, 2008. A small tree came out of nowhere and hit the front passenger side of the rx8 , just ahead of the door jamb, after I curbed the car pretty well ;p.
"The entire front passenger suspension has been replaced", they said.
I just got the car back, and while it drives ok:
1. the steering feels like it has "rough" spots, and makes faint grinding/rough sounds when I turn the wheel. Sorta like its rubbing against something.
I checked wheel wells and could see nothing obviously off, or rubbing. What can I do to go back to the dealership with more than "this car is making sounds it wasn't making before"?
2. My TPMS light is on, but the dealership told me I should drive it 20-30 miles before it resets itself. Is that legit?
3. My supposedly brand new front passenger headlight has deep scratches on it.
4. The inside trim on the passenger door, the bit surrounding the door handle, is cracked. They probably broke it while taking the door apart. They should fix this, right?
I just got this thing back yesterday, after two months of having no 8. I'm very grateful to the universe in general for it, but I'd love to hear what the seasoned rx8club community thinks of the situation.
Thanks!

+1... call your insurance company and tell them that the garage did not fix the car right.
A couple of years ago a kid ran a stop light and hit my wife while she was driving our Expedition just forward of the right front wheel... also impacting the front wheel and bending the steering linkage on that side of the car. The dealership replaced the right linkage but did nothing to the left... no damage. But due to years of wear on the left side (it was a 2004 with 110k miles on it) and the 'new' right side it never drove right again. Point of the long winded story... if it's not right now, it never will be.

I called my insurance company, they said to get back to the dealership.
I called the dealership guy I was dealing with and he told me to bring it back through regular mazda service channels.
Crap. I have a feeling this won't be good.
