Think about it.
You also want uniform cooling/lubrication. present oil nipples cant do that as the wiping from the apex seals doesnt spread it enough.
Can I clarify something? Several times it has been said here that the omp "sprays" its oil into the housing?. I have alway thought that the omp allows oil to form drops or slowly ooze that is wiped by the apex seals?
Big difference. Which is it?

Mechanical hypodermic syringe

It works like a mechanical hypodermic syringe moving slow. Drop by drop.

Well, obviously, you wouldn't want it to "spray" oil - you would be distributing it to places where you don't need it and it would interfere with combustion.

Yeah, if the baby is made of steel and taking swipes at the bottle as he "crawls" by at 75 feet per second!

An additional thought... Reading thru stuff, someplace, somewhere, I came across something that stuck in my mind because it was odd.

The oil is there to keep the things cool, but not by cooling them. It is an insulator. The thin film of oil slows down the heat wave from combustion. It can lube as well, but not much, and it can flash off and take some heat, but, again, not much. Both because there is just not that much oil.

Found article, wikipedia... References are people who seem to have written books on rotaries. The oil is mentioned in a few places.

So any updates on removing and plugging off the hose? Im about to get what will probably be my last engine under warranty. I'm trying to do everything I can to ake this one last longer than the last 2. Lower thermostat, Upgrade the ignition (to clean up the dreaded 7000+ rpm misfires) even debating on going with the racing beat PCM flash to lower the fan turn on temps to atch the T-stat).
If this seems like it will help make the engine more reliable then it sounds like a good Idea, but I dont understand the oil injection system like you guys do. I understand the basics and principles behind it but some more info on this "mod" would be great.
