if you're getting 23, you're at the pinnacle of rx-8 fuel economy.

I wish i could get 23, on road trips i get about 22 but on my normal day to day(city) i get under 12 MPG every single time. That means that i get to go about 250km(or 158 miles to the tank). I think i need to get my plugs checked, air filter is good.

I run 22-24mpg and I have tried everything to break 25.. Just ain't gonna happen. 23 is good for our cars, so be happy and see what you can do to get the lowest number possible... Be a hell of a lot more fun!

It can happen, you just have to make trade-offs most people aren't willing to make to get it.

A part tje fact that you're not new to a world you cannot even spell right..
Rotory...
Anyway buying a rotary car and wanting to do a good MPG is like buying a horse to work as a mule.
The best answer is: change car, 23 is already an excellent result!

If you're getting 23, you're not doing it right! You should be getting around 15. You've clearly missed the point.

I get the feeling that engine isn't getting redlined daily.
